World Fantasy Convention, Calgary October 2008
What a great time in Calgary. Got to finally meet some people I've
known for a long time, like Eddie Schneider, the new second-in-command
at JABberwocky, and Todd Lockwood, the cover artist for The Mirror Prince.
Also go to meet fellow DAW author Tad Williams. There's something a little
special about World Fantasy. It's usually smaller than World SF Con, which
makes it more intimate, and in many ways more fun. A first for me that
I'll never forget: people reading my name tag in the elevator and telling
me they'd just finished one of my books and loved it.
