There are seven Federal Correctional Institutions in Kingston and
vicinity (Kingston Penitentiary,
Collins Bay Institution, Frontenac
Institution, Millhaven Institution,
Bath Institution, Joyceville Institution, and Pittsburg Institution.)
Members of St. Mark's are or have been employed in the correctional service, including the chaplaincy service. Other members participate in prison visitation and Church Council for Justice and Corrections (CCJC), and St. Mark's has had long-term relationships with several inmates, some of whom worship with us at St. Mark's. |
