Students produce their own "AN EDUCATED MINUTE"

At Centre Hastings Secondary, there are 12 students busy interviewing people, writing articles for newspapers and magazines, and two of them, Kate and Matt would really like to write, edit and produce their very own radio show...Centre Hastings Principal Christine Walker thinks its a great idea. All they have to do is choose their subject, compose the 60 second script, rehearse, edit and take a trip to OJ95.5 FM in Belleville for taping and away they go on-air!
As part of their credit course in English this year, they'll learn what it takes to be a script writer, radio announcer and production assistant...the best way to learn is by DOING, so Matt and Kate will be future guests on "AN EDUCATED MINUTE" with their own show...look for them! They'll definitely be more of the "good news" in education!
"AN EDUCATED MINUTE IS BROUGHT TO YOU TODAY BY HASTINGS PRINCE EDWARD DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION...I'M KATHY LEVERETTE."
